With an event the size and scope of The Whistler Half Marathon, minor traffic interruptions are unavoidable. We thank the community for your patience while we run our event, and hope that you get out and cheer on the athletes. All consideration for access to homes and businesses have been considered and full road and lane closures have been designed to be as short as possible, for minimal impact.
As the race course does cover vast amounts of municipal roadway as well as the valley trail system, please be aware that racers can be encountered anywhere along the route between 7:30am and noon on Saturday June 1st. Be sure to also see our traffic advisories in Pique Newsmagazine on May 23 and 30, 2019, and listen on Mountain FM May 27 - June 1.
