...well the fact of the matter is that mountain weather can change, and change rapidly. But history has been known to repeat itself so here is what we can tell you about the weather on the first weekend of June for the past 10 years.
You can expect a cool-ish morning start, average temperature at race time is 10 C (approx 50 F). June is a month of mixed weather but more often than not this particular weekend has been dry. Prepare for showers, hope for sun - and you should be set to go.
There will be a gear drop to check any extra gear that you bring in preperation for the weather. Just be sure to bring a back pack or waterproof bag to store your stuff in as we will not have plastic bags to hand out - reducing our carbon footprint one little bit at a time.
